Brushed stainless steel square end cap that closes off 40 x 40 x 2mm box section, the most common architectural square size used for balustrade posts and frames.
It gives a flush, square topped finish on posts and uprights, and the brushed finish matches our stainless handrail tube and fittings.
Specification
- Suits 40 x 40 x 2mm stainless steel box section
- Finish: brushed stainless steel
- Grade 304 for internal use, grade 316 for external and coastal use
- Knock in fit with a ridged internal spigot
- In stock for fast dispatch
- Delivery included to mainland UK
Fitting note: the internal socket is knocked into position with a rubber mallet or similar. We recommend adding a metal bond adhesive to hold the cap permanently, although on a tight fit this is not always necessary. No welding is needed.
Choose the 316 grade version for anything outdoors; 304 grade is suitable for dry internal work. The cap suits modular handrail, balustrade, canopy and Juliet balcony builds. See related parts in modular handrail fittings, posts in handrail tube and posts, or browse all balustrade components.
