Stainless Steel and Glass Juliet Balcony - Wembley
All prices shown include VAT.
Lead time is typically 3 to 6 weeks from sign-off. See our guide lead times by product, or ask us for current capacity if you are working to a date.
Made to order. This is manufactured for your order rather than supplied from stock, so it cannot be returned or refunded as an unwanted purchase. Returns information.
The sizes above are your structural opening, not the balcony.
A Juliet balcony has to fix back to solid structure at each side, so it is made wider than the opening it guards. Allow 150mm each side, about 300mm wider overall. Choose the size of the opening itself and we build to suit it.
Check the typical detail drawing (PDF) before you order. It shows the opening, the overall width and where it fixes.

The glass is carried in a 42mm slotted stainless steel profile, top and bottom, seated on gaskets rather than gripped by clamps. It reads as a cleaner line than a clamped system, with no fittings interrupting the glass.
It is the middle ground between a clamped balcony and a fully frameless one: you still get rails, which keeps the glass specification and the price sensible, but nothing is bolted through or clamped onto the face of the panel.
UKCA marked, and compliant for domestic use
UKCA marked to BS EN 1090-2, which is a legal requirement rather than an optional badge, and supplied with a Declaration of Performance for building control sign-off.
Designed in accordance with BS 6180, the code of practice for barriers in and about buildings, for domestic applications, at 0.74kN/m loading and 1100mm high. Commercial, public and multi-occupancy buildings are designed to higher imposed loads, so if it is going anywhere other than a private dwelling, tell us at enquiry stage and we will design and price it to the right loading. Structural calculations are available on request either way.
Our balcony and Juliet building regulations guide covers guarding heights and loadings in plain English.
How it is made
- 42mm slotted stainless steel profile, top and bottom
- Toughened safety glass with polished edges and radius corners, seated on gaskets within the slot
- Satin polished stainless steel to a 320 grit minimum
- Made 150mm wider than the door opening on each side as standard, so the fixings land in solid masonry rather than at the edge of the reveal
- Wall fixings are not supplied: your installer sources anchors to suit the substrate, because the right fixing depends entirely on what you are fixing to
- Structural calculations available on request
- 10 year structural warranty
The gasket does more than hide the fixing. It gives the glass something to sit on rather than being pinched at a few points, which spreads the load along the whole edge and takes the stress concentrations out of it.
Made in our Sheffield workshop. 100% positive feedback across more than 78,000 eBay sales, and 4.8 out of 5 from over 180 Google, Trustpilot and Yell reviews.
Sizes
The sizes above are the common door and window opening widths. Measure the structural opening, not the door. For a size between them, or outside them, tell us the opening width and we will price it.
For a wider opening, the Wide Span glass Juliet carries a heavier 60mm rail and spans from 2400mm to 3500mm in one clear run.
Take the widest of three measurements across the structural opening rather than an average. The balcony has to cover the opening at its widest point and the fixings land outside it, so the widest figure is the one that matters. Our Juliet balcony measuring guide shows where to measure and how much we add each side.
Installation
- Supplied in kit form and straightforward to fit with reasonable DIY skills
- Fixing instructions are provided, and we are a phone call away if you want to talk it through
- Installation by our own site teams is available as an optional extra. Ask for it with your enquiry and we will price it alongside the balcony.
Working at height is your responsibility. Use properly erected access equipment.
We do not assess what your wall is built from. We certify the balcony; we never certify the structure it is fixed to.
Stainless steel is easy to clean but not maintenance free. Wash it down a few times a year, more often near the coast or a busy road.

Other glass Juliets in the range
- Modern Style - the same idea with the clamps on show as a feature, and held in stock
- Canterbury - frameless, no top rail at all, up to 2400mm

- The full Juliet balcony range - curved, flat, ornate, stainless and frameless glass
Fixings
Every fixing needed to assemble the balcony is supplied with it.
Wall and floor fixings are not supplied on a supply only order. The right anchor depends on what your building is made of and what condition it is in, and that is not a call we can make from here. Fixing points come drilled ready and your installer selects anchors to suit the substrate. Where we install, we take that decision on site and provide them.
Survey and installation
We survey, we install nationwide with our own teams, and we sell supply only if you have your own fitter. The detail is in the product description above. For a price on your job, email us your postcode.
