42mm mild steel tubular wall rail, polyester powdercoated to a smooth painted finish in the colour of your choice. Internal use.
Internal only, and why that matters
There is no galvanising under the paint on this one, so it is for stairwells, hallways and landings rather than anything exposed to weather. For outside, our galvanised and powdercoated rail is hot dip galvanised first and then painted, which is what makes it stand up out there.
What is included
- The rail itself, in your chosen length and colour
- Brackets to suit, with the sizing guide telling you how many for the run
- Screws and plugs for timber or masonry
- End caps in black plastic
Sizing
Pick your length and colour above. The sizing guide walks through measuring a rake and spacing the brackets.
What if my size is not in the list?
Order the next size up. The lengths in the dropdown are price bands rather than fixed lengths, so a 1,200mm rail is ordered as 1.5 metre. Tell us the exact length you need when you order and we make it to that measurement, not to the band. There is no extra charge for a bespoke length within the band you have paid for.
Delivery and fitting
Delivered anywhere on the UK mainland. Most people fit these themselves; if you would rather not, we quote for fitting on multiple rails. Call 0114 243 9009 or email sales@diomet.co.uk.
Heights and regulations
What height a rail should sit at, whether it has to run continuously, and when a second one is needed are all in our handrail regulations guide. We will build to whatever specification you need. Deciding what your project has to comply with is a matter for your building control officer.
Elsewhere in the range
- Galvanised and powdercoated, the external version
- Stainless wall rail, 304 grade brushed, if you would rather not have a painted finish
- Powdercoated handrail on posts, where there is no wall to fix to
Survey and installation
We survey, we install nationwide with our own teams, and we sell supply only if you have your own fitter. The detail is in the product description above. For a price on your job, email us your postcode.
