Post Base Flange Key Clamp Fitting 42.4mm - A12

The A12 is the base flange that stands an upright on the floor, clamping the foot of a 42.4mm post and bolting down through two fixing holes in the plate.

It is the first fitting to go down on any free standing run. Set the bases out along the line of the rail, plumb the posts, then build the tees and corners on top, working from the ground up. The two hole plate suits concrete, steel decking or a timber platform equally, and on external steps or ramps it lets a rail be taken up without casting anything in. On a run of guardrail expect one at the foot of every post.
