A 42mm tubular stainless steel wall rail finished with grooved end caps, brushed to a 320 grit satin finish. Choose 304 grade for inside or 316 grade for outside. It is supplied as a straight length, fixed at a constant height above the nosings so that it runs parallel to the pitch of the flight.
Grooved ends, or standard?
This is the same rail as our standard stainless wall rail, with a different end cap. The groove is a decorative detail only. There is no difference in the steel, the finish, the fixings or how it fits. Pick whichever you prefer the look of.

Standard sizes are in the dropdown. The sizing guide shows what to measure and where the brackets land. Designed for straightforward DIY fitting.
What if my size is not in the list?
Order the next size up. The lengths in the dropdown are price bands rather than fixed lengths, so a 1,200mm rail is ordered as 1.5 metre. Tell us the exact length you need when you order and we make it to that measurement, not to the band. There is no extra charge for a bespoke length within the band you have paid for.
Is there a maximum length?
No. What a courier will carry sets the longest single section; beyond that the rail is jointed with an internal sleeve. The join shows as a line rather than as an external bracket, which is the point of doing it that way.
Inside or outside?
Pick the grade along with the size. 304 is the standard internal grade and is right for a staircase, a landing or a hallway. 316 is the external grade, so choose it for any outdoor application. 316 adds £20 per metre.
Finish
Brushed 320 grit as standard. Mirror polish is available on request, and it is worth asking us about for a coastal site or anywhere near a swimming pool, because it tarnishes less than a brushed finish in salt and chlorides.
